Her are some of our favourite, lesser-known features in Count - small wins that can make a big difference.
๐ Locking a canvas: We love real-time collaboration in Count - but sometimes we want lots of people interacting with a report without stepping on each other's toes. When a canvas is locked, anyone who opens it gets their own independent session. You can still use control cells to explore the data โ it just wonโt affect anyone elseโs view.

๐บ๏ธ Ever shared a canvas and wanted someone to land on a specific cell? You can link directly to a cell or frame, and Count will open the canvas zoomed in on that spot.
Just right-click on any object โ
Copy as
โCopy link
๐ช Find & replace - even in individual cells. You can of course use
Cmd/Ctrl + F
to search the whole canvasโฆ But did you know you can also find & replace within an individual SQL/Python cell?Highlight your text โ
Cmd/Ctrl + fn + F2
โ type your replacement text.
๐จ Have you formatted one visual or text box just right? You can copy its style and paste it onto others:
Right-click on the nicely formatted object โ
Copy as
โCopy styles
Select one or more similar objects โ right-click โ
Copy as
โPaste styles
And fancy a shortcut for this shortcut? Just add
Option
to your normal copy/paste routine (Cmd + Option + C
,Cmd + Option + V
)
